XO Grey Fox

Grey Fox is 4 weeks old - time for a rest for a day or two

Monday, 9 January 2012

I started this blog four weeks ago, hoping to make sense of my own search for some sort of style as middle age sets in. There are few attractive alternatives offered on the high street to those of us who are growing out of the younger fashions which are so readily available. I find this difficult to understand, as we are a larger and potentially affluent market.

My intention is to show how I'm dealing with the uncertainties of finding a fashion style as the attraction of slouchy jeans, hoodies and trainers fades. Classic styles are part of the answer, as is finding a confident approach to dressing.

I know from others that new blogs are slow for a long time, but I'm beginning to feel I'm shouting in the wilderness so will stop for a few days and see if things pick up. If you like this blog, or have any ideas about content or direction, please get in touch by commenting or tweeting me. I'll be back in three or four days - I'm enjoying this too much to give up.

Meanwhile here are a few photos that inspire.

Style isn´t about age or size, it reflects more of who you are. We are all on a quest to express and dress ourselves. I can relate to the narrow market being plus size but "Make it work", like Tim Gunn in TV-series Project Runway says. Show us more pictures of you and your outfits and tell us why you like it, where you´re going etc. xoxo, zhine

    Hi,

I've enjoyed what you've done so far (just read the lot). This is a journey I'm starting on too.

    Mr Fox -

Well done with the blog so far. I think I am around the same age as you, so it's great to check out what other gents are sporting at our age. Keep up the great work.
