This video from Mr Porter shows more of the colour and details seen at London Collections. For the older man there are a few ideas here - try bright colours and combinations, classic blazers set off with cheerful pocket squares and, yes, roll up those over-long trouser legs.
I'll probably be reserving the camo for fishing and birdwatching, but that's a middle age thing.

Hi there Grey Fox...I think You got it! Sometimes, even if a person is told something, it takes another presenter of the same information to make it click. In this case it is Mr.Porter. I could say something, and it might be dismissed, Ralph Lauren could say the exact thing and it would be considered GENIUS. I think, after looking at enough bits of style you will evolve and be an inspiration to your son(s) and nephews.
