This is the last (for the time being) of the Grey Hair for men series. How does grey hair look with browns - russets, fawns, chocolate, aubergine? Here's the answer. You may wish to add a highlighting splash of colour - blues, reds, oranges, mustard yellow, pinks; perhaps framed within a crisp white shirt.
I think browns (camel, cognac, chocolate, cinnamon..) go well with a salt and pepper top. It also depends on skin tone too to some degree.
In your images, I like the first best and the last least. I like the colours and individual clothing items in each, but find the last combination looks a little excessive and overdone - and there isn't even snow on the ground ! Perhaps it's fashion over function in that photo. I know that everyone on TS was going gaga over it but I think less would have been more. The combo of style and function in the first pic is more to my liking.
Thank you Mathew, I included the last image to see what reactions I would receive. I agree with your view. I wondered if he has dyed his hair which adds to the slightly false impression. GF.
I think if a person is going to dye their heir, they should dye it the color of the darkest color that is in their hair at that moment. If it is a mix of whites, grays and dark grays, match the dye color to the exact color of the darker gray that nature has given them. Not a color they think they had in youth, or some form or russet red. Too many men pick the reddish tones, and I think/feel it is unattractive. Too dark is also a No-No.

Morgan Freeman makes anything he wears look good.
