Available from Superdenim, they're made in Japan in Wakayama on vintage Swiss loopwheel machines which take an hour to produce a metre of cloth. Apparently the fabric is a lighter weight 10oz that is tough on the outside, soft on the inside. It's claimed that they are designed to last for years and will age beautifully over time - and that's how I remember that good sweats should be.

I couldn't resist showing you this sweatshirt from The Real McCoy's. For me it's a bit of pure nostalgia, as I remember sweats like this from my brief stay as a youngster in sixties New York.
