UK wool industry spinning back into business - and why we should buy British.

This video shoes how at least one element of the British wool industry is showing signs of recovery.
Here's an argument to support buying British menswear products, made from British raw materials and fabrics. We have the skills and industrial resources, let's use them and help them develop.
Good to see you promoting British woolens. If anybody is looking to give their wardrobe a boost whilst spending relatively modest amounts can I suggest checking out the myriad of Scottish milled tartan scafes available via the web for example. My personal hoLy grail is a black boat knecked arran jumper. I had one many years ago and wore it to destruction and have never found a replacement despite frequent searches. Any clues as to where I ight find one or alternatively a blue donegal tweed jumper would be appreciated.
Find a decent handknitter to replace your sweater, and be prepared to pay accordingly. But there are some excellent knitwear companies mentioned in previous Grey Fox posts too.
Thanks all - I do like to push Made in Britain here - we have some great traditions and skills which are slowly recovering as we move away from China and cheap, often unsustainably-made clothing from elsewhere.
