The quality of the cut and tweed (from Hunter's Tweed) is obvious. It feels very comfortable to wear, I felt immediately at home in it. The checks meet precisely and the details, such as beautiful horn buttons, add to the overall look of the suit. Contact Susannah Hall with tailoring queries.

I'm grateful to Susannah for doing a bulk deal for me and my three identical twin brothers; we're pictured admiring our suits below.
For my reports on the making of the suit see here.
As a Frenchman, this is what I always thought was the magnificence of British fashion sense! Superb suit indeed...
ReplyDeleteGrey Fox, that's wonderful. The trousers the right length and looks good from the back as well. A good looking suit, you must be pleased with that.

That looks super slick, so do your bros.
ReplyDeleteThat is an absolutely stunning suit. So glad you decided to go for one - now to get to as many shoots, race meets and so forth as you possible can!
ReplyDeleteThank you all - I love it - all credit to Susannah Hall and to Hunter's Tweed.

Top notch.
ReplyDeleteIt looks superb.
One day I will have one of my own.
David, that is a truly splendid looking suit and you look really great in it. I've never really thought about a suit like this before, but seeing how well this works for you makes me wonder if there shouldn't be one in my future.
ReplyDeleteAnd the tweed looks superb!
Suits you, Sir!
Erste Sahne.
ReplyDeleteLooks on you like you had it forever.
I would wear a modified suit like this in a minute.
Sigh.
Can you give an approximate idea of overall cost - tweed and tailoring? It is lovely. I'm looking to have a POW check suit made.
ReplyDeleteBarry - I can't be exact as I had tweed already - but I think Susannah Hall said it would be around £1k all in from her - not bad I think.
ReplyDeleteSuit price will depend on detail and cloth used.

Thank you all for your comments - it feels so comfortable to wear - the problem is it's hard to go back to off the peg - be warned.
