Nick Wooster, Jeremy Langmead, Oliver Cheshire, Bruce Pask, Nick Sullivan, Tinie Tempah, Scott Schuman, Grey Fox....huh? .... Who? Must be some mistake, surely? No, Grey Fox had the honour to be included in Esquire UK's The 20 Most Stylish Men on Instagram in February. Also included was friend and fellow 40+ blogger, Well Dressed Dad.
I've noticed over recent months that Esquire has been featuring many older men, both online and in print - for me it's become required reading. Will the fashion world follow?
Hammond & Co coat, vintage Tootal scarf, Holdall & Co folio, Jean Machine denims and Barker brogues
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteHi Grey Fox,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, well deserved. It will be interesting to see if the fashion world does follow with older models but I wont hold my breath.

Well done again chap!

Congratulations and well done! In a list of such luminaries, celebs and other professional fashion folks it's good to see there is room for a couple of down to earth regular chaps as well! :-)
ReplyDeleteMany thanks all!

Well done! You and Nick are certainly leading the charge.

Hi there Grey Fox,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on being one of the 20 most stylish. I've read your 2-8-2014 post titled "Supporting Grey Fox Blog", and I think sometimes rewards are not ALL monetarily based. Yes, it cost some money and time to put up a post (and you seem to be sending things up constantly), but look at all the rewards you've received so far. You passed the 500,000 mark for page views/articles read. (I've read somewhere most blogs only get like one thousand views per month). You've gone to fashion shows, met some really interesting people from the design world, and have been written about. People have asked for your opinions on things and you have been asked to contribute on other blogs. Most people will never go to, or be asked to do the things you now do, ever in their lives.
Writing/Authoring a blog is like joining a Country Club, in most cases it is a hobby. How many people who join country clubs ever become a Tiger Woods? But if information gets out there, that you wrote, it is better to have the name Grey Fox with it, than the name of some other famous/important person.
Fred, how can I thank you? You've been a constant supporter here since the early days and always have insightful, constructive, intelligent and kind comments to make. Your thoughts here are no exception and, of course, you're absolutely right.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm very lucky and enjoy it very much - I shouldn't dwell on such matters and really don't!
GF.
