Caterina Belluardo is a Sicilian designer who lives and works in London. She graduated from Cordwainers College in 2009, then gained a Masters degree from the Royal College of Art in 2013 specialising in mens’ fashion footwear.
I stumbled across her work at Best of Britannia and was attracted to the colours, shapes and patterns; Caterina has interpreted the man's shoe in a new and original way. There's something for every man, however bold or traditional your tastes. To be different, find out more, to buy or to commission a bespoke pair, go to the website here.
Dear GF.
ReplyDeleteWonderful blog. A veritable plethora of encouragement for this middle aged man (53). I am; however, torn when I am so often enchanted with such great merchants and craftspeople and their wares, but with price ranges beyond my means. The same encouragement I enjoy from your articles is many times turned to discouragement as I browse and realize I cannot 'partake'. I have observed from a couple of your posts an offering of 'like kind' for those of us with more humble means...thank you. Can you offer more broader advice and suggestions to my desire of dressing well on a 'blue collar' budget? Thank you, in advance. GIP
Thanks George, I write a short post on 6th August 2012 about buying menswear on a budget - if you search the word 'budget' you'll find it. Maybe it's time to add to that. I'll plan that for next year.
ReplyDeleteI'll also be reporting on a low-priced made to measure suit service soon, once I've checked quality and fit.
Many thanks.
GF
