Cherchbi is one of the brands that fuelled my enthusiasm for British-made goods. It has all the ingredients I like; an enthusiastic owner in Adam Atkinson, always ready for a chat on our frequent meetings; the best materials including wool from the historic Herdwick sheep of my beloved Cumbria and outstanding design, manufacture and style.

Cherchbi produce many products, most based around leather and Herdwick wool. I'm focusing here on their Squires holdalls, available in large and medium and in grey and brown Herdwick tweed. The two colours struck me as ideal for town and country bags, should you be tempted to have one for each use.
