Parka London:Modern Outerwear for Men and Women

Parka London launched in 2013. Designer Fiona Mills wanted to make the parka available as an affordable classic for men and women. Available in various different styles, they sent me one to try out.

Parka London Compton Classic Parka, Tom Smarte cap and Spoke cords.

I'm wearing their Compton Classic Parka, which has detachable faux fur framing the hood and borg insulating lining. Lightweight, well-made and warm in below zero dogwalks, the full price is a reasonable £325, but, at the time of writing, it's on sale at £162.50 (check the website here for the current price).

There are other styles, including a 3 in 1 which is lightly padded, but has a heavier quilted internal hooded jacket which can be added for colder days. There's also a shorter jacket and a longer classic fishtail for the mod in you. Not all designs include a fur hood, as they are not to everyone's taste. Altogether a nicely designed collection that's worth taking a look at. There's a collection for women too.
