The Times - cities fit for cycling campaign

Thursday, 2 February 2012

After two major cycling accidents in ten years, one of which seriously and permanently damaged a foot and the most recent has left me with a fractured knee, this is near to my heart. Please support the Times's Cities fit for cycling campaign, pledge support and write to your MP here. If you are reading this outside the UK, I hope cyclists feel safer in your country than we do on our roads.

Let's work to make our roads safer for cyclist and hopefully we will see fewer of these ghost bikes which so potently mark each cycling death on our roads.

Living in Spain, cycling is a really dangerous activitie.
I don´t know how to ride a bike.
When you are a child you learn, and then you buy yourself a car...Yes, I know.
Coming from an scan to see if my left knee meniscus is broken.

Hope all OK with scan sacramento. I've had both knees operated on for torn meniscus - not a major operation nowadays. GF
