In Camera - Timeless fashion from retired cavalry officer at London Fashion Week

This gentleman kindly agreed to allow me to photograph him as I prowled round Somerset House. He served in the Cavalry and told me that he bought his coat when he joined the Army. Apart from losing a button, it had obviously survived as robustly as its wearer.

But what struck me about this stylish man was that similar coats and quilted waistcoats are worn (much more self-consciously) by the trendy fashion brigade at the international fashion shows.
