Charlie Watts wears Prince of Wales check

Saturday, 12 October 2013

I love this image of Charlie Watts looking totally relaxed in a Prince of Wales check double-breasted suit - if this isn't encouragement to the older man to smarten up, I don't know what is.

Very wide in the lapel area Charlie.
How did your own Debenhams Hammond & Co PoW suit turn out? I'm hoping to pounce on one in the New Year sales.

Thank you Laurence - yes, very wide lapels and clearly bespoke as it fits beautifully across the shoulders.

Lapels too wide for me and not sure they're right on Charlie, but I like any attempt to be a little different and stylish.

I have the H & Co suit now and will report back soon.

    GF

Charlie always looks great. And his still trim figure is certainly an argument for one to take up drumming as a life-long pursuit.

    Best Regards,

    Heinz-Ulrich von B.
