Watch company Lange & Söhne is supporting the Concours of Elegance for the first time this year. This festival of classic cars takes place at Hampton Court Palace near London from 31st August to 2nd September - an ideal outing for a bank holiday weekend.

The Concours of Elegance (links below) brings together some classic cars dating from late nineteenth century to the very latest sports cars. Where you find beautiful cars you also find very stylish men and women. Here are some shots of last year's event.

Lucky you! I read in The Field recently of a chap who took a Speed Six Bentley for a spin - and discovered that the accelerator was operated by the left foot and the brake by the right!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the picture of the dashboard. I do long for a dashboard with a row of toggle switches with up for "off" and down for "on" and none of this digital nonsense where one lever can control lights, a variety of windscreen wiper options and direction indicators.
And the Panama hats were perfect for the day!
